"Paul is an exceptional artist and teacher, a rare combination. He is very generous in sharing his expertise and, in particular, encourages and supports learning with a 'how to' approach. Always positive and encouraging, I have learned more from Paul than I ever thought I could, and more quickly than I ever expected. His relaxed, 'tailor-made to suit the learner' style makes learning a joy and creates a real sense of progress and achievement right from the first lesson. Thank you, Paul, it's an honour to be your pupil."
"Hello Paul, Thank you so much for the workshops you have taken for our Art Group, we all really enjoy them.
Your overhead camera and large screen make the demonstrations so much easier for everyone to see.
All members of the Group keep asking when you are coming again. Your kindness, patience and encouragement is much appreciated".
Jenny and Fred, Outlane Art Group, Huddersfield.
"Dear Paul, Thank you so much for the wonderful picture of a barn owl in flight. It's just what I had hoped for and more. You have outstanding skills and are a great talent. It's been a wonderful experience commissioning a picture from you. I have been unsuccessfully looking for a painting like this in galleries for years. I would recommend you without hesitation. Your dexterity is amazing. Buildings, landscapes, mountains, lakes, wildlife, pets and no doubt more. Thank you".
Ross Hickman. Nottinghamshire.
"Thank you so much for a wonderful watercolour demonstration earlier this week - everyone was saying it was the best we have ever seen!! Everyone enjoyed it and gained info from it all - thank you".

"I would just like to say thank you again for today. Everyone keeps telling me how much they enjoyed it and want to see you again. They are saying you were the best we’ve had..
Barbara, Bardsey Art Group, Leeds.
Dear Paul, What a brilliant day we've had with you. Thank you so much for an inspiring and interesting workshop, which was thoroughly enjoyed by all those present. Your choice of subject was perfect, the demonstration very clear and tuition extremely helpful. Your friendly manner and the way in which you shared with us your way of working made it all the more enjoyable. We all learned a great deal, whatever our level of expertise.
It was a memorable and happy day and we'll certainly be in touch to arrange another one when we start on 2021 bookings in the new year.
In the meantime, we wish you fun and success with all your artistic activities.
Diana Smith, VOPAC, Vale of Pickering Art Society
"Hi Paul, Thank you for doing a fantastic workshop which was enjoyed by everyone. All the attendees went away very happy after learning new techniques and with a completed painting. I am looking forward to your next workshop which I have already had some enquiries for and hope to be able to join in again myself. You certainly have refreshed my interest in watercolour."
Best Wishes, Joanne.

"Hi Paul, Glad you enjoyed your afternoon with Egerton Artists, the members certainly enjoyed your demo. I've been asked/given your details to two other art groups, and as l mentioned to you I have been asked if l could organise a workshop. Looks like you could be visiting Bolton and district again.
You certainly impressed all 53 of the people who attended,

Hi Paul, Many thanks again for last Tuesday at our Art Group, a really special treat to meet you and see your lovely work. Everyone there on Tuesday said how much they enjoyed your demonstrations. Hoping we can tempt you back again next year some time, I’ll give you a call when we’re sorting dates.
Liz, Wellington Art Group, Telford.
Hi Paul, I just wanted to say many thanks for a great demonstration on Saturday. All our members really enjoyed it and found your comments and explanations of techniques very informative. Several said it was the best demo we'd ever had. I thought it was a masterclass in using a limited palette!
I also think the screen projection method is so effective as everyone can see easily and you don't miss anything.
You brought a super selection of your work too which people appreciated, I am thrilled with the print I bought.
All good wishes for the future and I hope the exhibition in York goes well for you.
Many thanks again,
Dee and all members of Mansfield Society of Artists.
